Hole Number Eight - "Cresta Run"- An unusual hole which was recently included in the book " Britain's 100 Extraordinary Golf Holes". The hole is well named being downhill and almost a double dogleg. The placing of the drive is very important with " out of bounds " on the right and considerable areas of rough on the left. The second shot can be influenced by the close proximity of the farm buildings, and the trees which camouflage them, to the ideal line to the green which is well bunkered.
